Check-Up

Having a check-up can help identify health problems at an early stage or even before they occur. It may be possible to have a longer and healthier life if a diagnosis is made early.

According to “Healthline” you should do screenings;

  • once every 3 years if you are under age of 50 and in good health
  • once a year once you turn 50

Above age 50, even those without inherited risk should undergo the following tests; eye examinations, cardiological examinations, and additional cancer scanning. It is not necessary to wait until the age of 50 for those who have inherited risks to have these tests. In the 30’s, people at risk need to undergo additional tests.

Benefits of regular check-ups ;

  • Early detection of potentially life-threatening health issues
  • Having health conditions treated early increases the odds of a positive outcome
  • Keeping track of existing health issues to reduce the risk of exacerbated symptoms or severe complications
  • Keeping your vaccinations and screenings up-to-date
  • Avoiding costly treatment of complicated or serious conditions that aren’t caught early
  • Enhancing your health and living a longer and healthy life
